We started providing wedding decorations over twenty-one years ago and followed up with corporate decorating and event planning under the name Balloon Boutique.  In 1985 when we opened a small balloon and teddy bear shop, we sold balloon bouquets, made deliveries and did some decorating.  At the time wedding decorating with balloons was quite popular and we specialized in unique centerpieces, sculptures and arches.

   As time went on, our business grew steadily and decorating became a bigger part.  One day a bride came in wanting a ceiling decoration made from balloons and the fabric that she had brought with her.  After a few minutes we came up with a design and started doing ceilings.

    We continued under that name until about nine years ago when decorating with balloons was becoming less popular with us and the general public.  At that time we knew we needed a name change so we sold the balloon and teddy bear business and became Grand Illusions.

    As Grand Illusions we have grown into a full service decorating and party planning service for weddings, corporate and organizational affairs, and events of all kinds.  We can create and implement for you an entire event or you can hire us just to do specific pieces.
